<p>Hey there! Welcome to my personal website. As a quick introduction, I am a software developer who is passionate about technology, education, and the space industry. I have a unique background in IT support and system administration which helps give me a broad operational perspective. Below is a more detailed account of my professional experience. <ul>
<li>I develop and support COSMIC, an inventory management and event planning system for tracking spaceflight hardware for the <a href="https://www.collinsaerospace.com/news/news/2022/12/collins-aerospace-to-deliver-new-spacesuits-to-nasa-for-international-space-station-missions" target="_blank">Collins Aerospace xEVAS contract</a> which has a .NET backend and Postgres database</li>
<li>I developed and supported <a href="https://sti.nasa.gov/what-is-the-nasa-sti-program/" target="_blank">NASA STI</a> Repository (NTRS) and STRIVES which have .NET and Node.js backend, ElasticSearch, and Postgres database</li>
<li>I designed the multi-index search setup to allow external publications to appear in NTRS results</li>
<li>I updated the sync job from JPL’s TRS system to the new <a href="https://dataverse.jpl.nasa.gov/" target="_blank">Dataverse</a> API</li>
<li>I wrote new and enhanced existing backend jobs for data normalization an indexing</li>
<li>I setup a Kubernetes (kind) dev cluster for local backend dev work based off of an existing docker-compose configuration</li>

<li>I am designing a monitor and control application framework in Go which will be used to communicate with <a href="https://www.bisque.com/wp-content/x2standard/" target="_blank">TheSkyX API</a> for remotely controlling the Georgia Tech telescope in Maui, Hawaii</li>
<li>I designed and developed a Python application to transfer the most recent AllSky camera image from the telescope computer to the Aloha project website</li>

<li>I developed the <a href="https://www.viasat.com/space-innovation/space-and-networking-technology/ground-network/" target="_blank">Real-Time Earth</a> Scheduler API which had Django and C++ backend, AngularJS frontend, and Postgres database (AWS RDS)</li>
<li>I regularly deployed software to test and production using Ansible</li>
<li>I wrote a custom Ansible module in Python to make RPC calls and configure Viasat’s <a href="pdf/VHR_3200.pdf" target="_blank">High-rate Receiver 3200</a> during deployments</li>
<li>I designed and developed the alarm system for the Operator Station Software in C# with a C++ backend component on the Station Control Software (SCS)</li>
<li>I wrote a Python script to allow the SCS to activate or deactivate security policies on a Juniper SRX</li>
<li>I developed new and supported existing antenna component drivers for the SCS using C++</li>

<li>I planned and executed the physical relocation of 40% of our total server infrastructure which included our primary VM cluster and NetApp</li>
