Video doesn't play, possibly cookie related

When I try to play a video that has an age requirement, like https://youtu.be/ElZoENzrzig?si=IvKiL5v2c8hKZozp (non pornographic, it fits Youtube content standards), the video doesn't play.

So for example

url https://youtu.be/ElZoENzrzig?si=IvKiL5v2c8hKZozp

generates a list of one video and when I enter 1 it waits a moment, doesn't give anything, then return to the > prompt. My video player (VLC in my case) doesn't open either. download https://youtu.be/ElZoENzrzig?si=IvKiL5v2c8hKZozp does the same thing.

I have a feeling this has to do with needing a cookie, it would be sweet to be able to add a cookie now and then. Though generally speaking I love that yewtube is cookieless.
