DSBMixer tray icon not respecting theme settings in Preferences or in KDE System Settings - KDE Plasma 5.20.1

I have found a bug in this program where changing the tray icon theme in DSBMixer's preferences has no effect on KDE Plasma 5.20.1, with FreeBSD 13.0 RELEASE. It doesn't even respect default theming, staying stuck on the default Breeze icon, making it impossible to see when a darker theme is applied.

Here is an image with the tray icon theme set to breeze-dark; this is how it stays no matter the theme set in Preferences or settings in KDE.

This icon is in contrast with the others in the panel, which do use the correct theme.

Update: It does respect theme, just not dark or light theming.
