Looking for Ender 3 s1 increased hotend temp help

I am looking for any help with increasing the max hotend temp for my ender 3 s1.
I have a 301F4 board, DACAI screen, and a stock thermistor. I've upgraded the heat break to bimetal but I am unable to find any precompiled firmware to allow me to print nylon. I've tried to follow the guide to build my own firmware however I have been unsuccessful at getting any firmware to get past the splash screen. I'm able to load the stock and professional firmware onto the printer and everything works fine. I'm confused as to what I could be doing wrong.

With the Professional firmware you can use the custom C-code C104 to increase the hotend maximum temperature: https://github.com/mriscoc/Ender3V2S1/wiki/Custom-C-gcodes

I have tried this however once I exceed 270C I still get the following error

Recv: Error:MAXTEMP triggered, system stopped! Heater_ID: E0
Changing monitoring state from "Operational" to "Error"

Adding to this I can only change the firmware between stock firmware and the professional version by placing them in the root directory of the SD card. Ive tried installing kilpper but to no avail. this confuses me as this in a 401 board.
