Make a release?

hi @mrmaxguns , thanks for the nice repo. I see that you made a commit about 6 months ago for a 3.0 release 5dfa455, but there's no corresponding release on PyPI.

Did you get tripped up by some of the recent fences they put up that made publishing harder? I would love to get a new release since you addressed several deprecations and other issues
