I'm running a fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04 and ROS 2 Iron. Installed everything the same on my Dell XPS 15 as on my Lenovo last week. But this time the ROS VS Code extension (v. 0.9.2) is not showing System Status, only a dash. IT makes no difference if I try to start or stop the daemon from VS Code.
ros2 daemon status in the terminal shows that the daemon is / is not running appropriately, so I can confirm that the ROS-extensions start/stop functionality works as intended.
Changing to the pre-release version (0.9.6) of the extension, this works as expected!
How can I help narrow this down? How is the status queried from the extension? Is this even relevant anymore since it works in prerelease..
