I'm tried using both downloadable plugins .

I can authenticate just fine, see all rooms and users the core stuff doesn't work for me - when I post a message it gets echoed and doesn't get sent to the CF room.

I didn't have the time to setup and build the latest version.

Weird. Do you receive messages from other people?

Yeah, works perfectly.

If there was logging of some sorts I could tell you what's going in the background.

More details:

  • tested in Adium 1.4.2 and 1.4.3b1
  • I looked for messages in Console Messages.app and I can see this:
