This is an amazingly detailed project description! I love it!

You may want to start thinking about the "deliverables" of the project.
Will you host some notebooks on github?
Maybe try to have some work of binder?
Will you write a markdown summary?

I will put down the deliverables. A small issue with notebooks and binders is that the code is presently in Lua and I haven't really worked with binders for Lua. Not sure how useful it would be. But I guess I would want to port the code from Torch to PyTorch at one point (maybe in the second week sometime). :D
