Found this from Firefox, it might something we can look to replace some of the calls in extension js.

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/Distribution/Make_money_from_browser_extensions also this, which means it will probably need a mechanism to remove iap from the application in Firefox.
