Goodbye Bountysource, goodbye money?

Ever since they were bought by The Blockchain Group the entire service has been unreliable, to the point that it was taking MONTHS to process cash-outs. That is, after at least an exchange of emails.

Today I wanted to visit the website to perform yet another painful checkout attempt and I was greeted by this instead:

First of all, we're going to remove the link to Bountysource from our GitHub repository, leaving only Liberapay.

Secondly, we should figure out a way to retrieve every single cent that was donated to us, totaling more than a thousand USD.

Last time I requested a cash out was before Bountysource went offline, as I got rid of PayPal as soon as they sided with a scammer by accepting a fraudulent charge back against me. In fact, I would consider the lack of at least one alternative payment method another serious problem.

Both cash outs were cancelled by me. The second one was actually processed on August 12 after getting in touch with support via email, but they never marked it as such even after I mentioned the inconsistency.

By the way, the fact that they wrote the exact same reply for all 3 issues in your repository is astonishing:

The problem is that they ignored the other concerns described in the issue(s).

I'll leave the repository (abebeos/bountysource) for now active.

In my opinion there's no reason to archive it, as there are still many unanswered questions and the cash out process doesn't seem to be actually fixed yet.
