It could be a bot that enables backdoor access to the server.
Features:

invite bot into channel
secret handshake sending messages back and forth, quirky response to others, wait for handshake from inviter
bot does a thing like op's the person who completed the secret handshake and deop everyone else
parts the channel with quirky message

mxafi added the enhancement label
