How can I get column name when use map

I don't want to write the domain objects because the returned field is uncertain. So I use map to contain result set. Now I want to get the column name or column label when there is no result set, what could I do?

I had the same question as you in our project.The solution I do like that:

1. define a POJO contains field:col1, col2, col3,...,coln(the number of n depends);
2. define the mapper.xm like this:

<select id="executeSelectByPage" parameterType="java.util.Map" resultType="com.abchina.ibank.base.domain.InstanceModel">
        <![CDATA[
                ${paramSql}
        ]]>
    </select>

3.transfer the sql you get fron client to "select col1, col2, col3... from tableName";
4.user the API like others;
5.transfer col1, col2, col3,... to the real column name.

To solve the issue, I added a method into the SqlSession interface. The method returns a class type with column name and data set. It works well. But I really hope the official version has the similar method in the SqlSession interface.
