I wanted to offer a full running Hyprland after installing ml4w-hyprland. The default config includes key bindings for wofi, dolphin and kitty. Not sure if I will keep it like this.
But maybe. you're right that this is to much overhead.

I think kde dependencies are not really needed, dolphin is a good example as you use nautilus.
I switched to thunar myself, as nautilus is gnome made ( but I understand you use it since your tools are gtk4 based)
