This is not an issue, but I wasn't sure how else to contact you.
There's a vintage_net_qmi library that my company is working on and the plan was to open source it. I was going to move it the nerves-networking organization and start encouraging it's use over the AT command based vintage_net_mobile for those who could use it.
Unfortunately, I didn't know of your library until now and we ended up developing our own qmi encode/decode library. Now I wish I'd found your library earlier since there's lots to like about yours. I'm torn now on what to do since there are aspects of both your library and ours that I like.
I was wondering where you were on your development and whether you were using an embedded Linux setup or a Nerves one. Are you "done" with what you needed with QMI and we should either use eqmi or not? Or are you still working on it and there's room to collaborate? I'll see if I can make our repo public so that you can actually see where we're at.

To be honest I developed the library just out of curiosity, I've tested in a local Linux setup, my idea was to use it with Nerves and I was working on https://github.com/nadsat/vin_qmi (which is far from ready) but only in pet projects not in production.
At first for what I needed it's OK, but there is room for improvements (suggestions, PR are welcome ), there some decisions that I wasn't sure, the documentation is limited etc.
It would be great if you can open source your library and have a look.
