Change brightness on mouse scroll wheel action over battery icon?

Love your extension! It may be a bit out of scope but what do you think of the idea of supporting changing the brightness by scrolling with the mouse over the battery icon?

Would really love seeing this feature being implemented as I am in desperate search of a very user friendly and quick way to adjust the brightness level without having to go into the menu to find the brightness settings and adjust there.
