Is this project dead?

I just discovered this nice project but looks like there haven't been updates for a long while.

The readme still has examples for Firebase 7 while the current version is 9.

Is this a dead project? If so is it because there is no longer a need for it due to changes in the latest version of firebase which already cover the ones in this package, or are there other reasons?

Sorry guys I have a ton of libraries I'm supporting now and I just don't like using Firestore on the client anymore. I described more at #117. Maybe at some point I can merge a master PR that upgrades everything.
