AFAIK it is not explained anywhere, and I'm not sure what is the right value for ip_source parameter

  • should it be a router address assigned on the interface for the respective VLAN
  • or should it be a "fake" IP that does not exist on the particular interface
  • or should I create an interface with that IP and somehow pass it to the container?

Asking primarily in the context of running it in a container running on Mikrotik.
