Otherwise this is working great for me! I'm just not seeing the printer advertised on the network. Of course homeassistant.local resolves, but my macOS print dialog does not automatically discover printers. If I set up things manually I can print just fine.

HA has its own Avahi. I wonder if there's a way to tie into that and advertise IPP.

You can test if it's discovered with

dns-sd -B _ipp._tcp .

Perhaps we need something like this: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/implementing-mdns-into-custom-addon/277993/3 though this requires PyScript from HACS to work it looks like.
