Repetition Blindness

Repetition Blindness can be pretty annoying while reading. (It happens very rarely, making it more confusing because the reader thinks the text is wrong)

I don't know if this phenomen can be worked around but maybe this could solve the problem:
If a word already occured in the same sentence or in the last, say, 10 words, the word could be marked in a special color.
