Can anyone provide test files for segmentation? NIIFTI compressed preferably.

Sure! this spine-generic database is public and includes a bunch of derivatives. See also the collection of BIDS example datasets, and many many other examples on OpenNeuro.

There is also the spinalcordtoolbox dummy dataset used for the course, which includes 3 subjects organized according to BIDS @joshuacwnewton can point us to the dataset
