Some CO2e emission numbers currently do not sum up to the value.
The main source currently are the values from 2019 in Umweltbundesamt Treibhausgase nach Sektoren (our reference uba2020DeutscheTreibhausgasEmissionen)
The test "should return an object with the computed values set approximately to shouldInitiallyBe" in tests/Params.spec.ts would reveal some of those discrepancies, if the shouldInitiallyBe property of the respective parameters in src/params/Params.ts were not commented out.
These are probably not complete. Search for "#72" in source code to find more.
Mobility: Source claims 164.322 MioTons per year in 2019. Sums to 173.7 MioTons.
Energy: Source claims 258.043 MioTons per year in 2019. Sums only to 151.4 MioTons.
Buildings: Source claims 123.461 MioTons per year in 2019. Sums to 377.1 MioTons.
Total: Source claims 809.799 MioTons per year in 2019. Sums to 965.5 MioTons.
These values are currently used to adjust/correct results, but differ from the ones claimed in the source:
Mobility: Emissions by trucks: Source claims 47.5 MioTons, but we currently use 14.4 MioTons to adjust to the correct total emissions street sehicles. UBA Values for 2019
Other issues:
Source of initial Building numbers is only an internal CryptPad link.
