Hi @nevalla,

It would be good to add some kind of search by keyword of additional filter except namespace.
With a big amount of resources in namespace hard to navigate and move map objects,
with filtering it will show only dependent objects and relations.

What do you think?

I've added now graph to details pane so that it will show only resources that are related to active resource. Hopefully this will help a bit. But I like your idea, let's see if there's an easy way to add this.

Hello, that's exactly the kind of feature I thought about the second I discovered this extension.
The most obvious type of resource I would like to hide is Helm release versions which multiply a lot the amount of nodes.

A "simple" design to filter would be to display a checklist of all types of resources (either filtered or not by the present types in the selection). Being able to remember those "preference of display" would be nice.

I think we should combine the Legend (Resource type names and images) and resource type toggles into one display (essentially, the Legend with visibility checkboxes). I'd prefer a collapsible dialogue because the legend is too fleeting as a mouse-over popup.

  • Types not in current graph shown as disabled
  • Resource type toggle selections are remembered (persisted)
