The web UI's Ruby VMs functionality currently operates on a fixed set of data categories that power dashboard UI widgets.
Given our exploratory efforts to see what additional VM stats could be collected, what are our options with the UI? How difficult is it to expand the fixed list of categories? Can a category have its UI widget hidden entirely if data is not present? Can new categories be added dynamically at any time, allowing customers fine grained control over which of the hundreds (!) of potential VM related stats to collect?
