  • ps withoud pid (empty pid file) is successfull callable and recognized also as status "running"
  • newrelic user is setup with /bin/false as shell so su is not working

btw because I see no support address here as comment:

The EBS volumes are shown only with vol-xxxxxx . So I added as name tag the instance name and now I have now e.g. app01 (vol-xxxxxx) as additional source.

Would be nice if the aws_cloudwatch module can recognize the instances by vol identifier and not by a combination of tags and vol identifier to have a single history over the volume.
