quote: "Overall, it was executed fantastically and was impactful in the small and intimate theatre."

---

What’s a life outside of pain? What’s the cost, and is it truly worth it? How are you meant to act when your ex is coming over in an hour and you haven’t done laundry in weeks?

Pain Threshold asks what the limit truly is – of love and of grief. Taking inspiration from queer punk gig-theatre, it explores a relationship breakdown between two people and their experiences of pain, big and small, through angry-camp covers of Ezra Furman.

---

All children grow up... except for one. J.M. Barrie's spellbindingly classic tale 'Peter Pan' takes flight. When Peter Pan, leader of the lost boys, loses his shadow, headstrong Wendy helps him to reattach it. In return, she is invited to Neverland, where Tinker Bell, Tiger Lily and the vengeful captain hooks awaits. Exploring the possibilities and pain of growing up, a riot of magic, mischief, and make-believe ensues.

Two households, both alike in dignity, in fair Verona, where we lay our scene…

Forbidden young love faces down an ancient family grudge in Shakespeare’s most famous romantic tragedy. The gripping, action-packed drama of fate, pride and revenge is given a sharp twist, continuing Lakeside’s successful collaboration with Nottingham New Theatre.
