Importing:Lastpass

You may experience problems when using the Lastpass instructions for exporting to a CSV file.

Their instructions as found here: Lastpass Export end up having you view the export in a browser tab and the select and copy it into a Notepad file and finally to save it as a CSV (with Unicode dropdown selected)

However there are numerous reports of this failing.

An easy fix for this is to download the free and superior notepad software Notepad++

Repeating the same steps but saving as a CSV from Notepad++ has proved successful. It appears something in the encoding from Windows Notepad is creating a problem during the import however Notepad++ presents no problems.

I have authored this document and successfully imported 800+ passwords from Lastpass using the above fix.
