Describe the Bug

If I have installed the "Recognition" app and want to share an external storage with a user group using the share function, this does not work. The share is displayed and the users in the group receive a notification that a folder has been shared with them, but they cannot open it (folder not found).
As soon as I deactivate the Recognition app, I can share the folder without any problems and it is displayed for all users.

Expected Behavior

If I share a folder on an external storage, it should be displayed for the user. If the Recognition app is activated, the user receives a notification that a folder has been shared with them, but they cannot view it.

To Reproduce

  • Install Nextcloud
  • (Deactivate all other plugins)
  • Mount external storage via Ubuntu and integrate it into Nextcloud and give a user access to it
  • This user shares a folder on the external hard disk with a group created under "Users"
  • The folder is displayed

--

  • Now install and activate the Recognition app
  • The user deletes the share and creates it again
  • The share is displayed as created, but some users of the previously created group cannot open the folder

Hello 👋

Thank you for taking the time to open this issue with recognize. I know it's frustrating when software
causes problems. You have made the right choice to come here and open an issue to make sure your problem gets looked at
and if possible solved.
I try to answer all issues and if possible fix all bugs here, but it sometimes takes a while until I get to it.
Until then, please be patient.
Note also that GitHub is a place where people meet to make software better together. Nobody here is under any obligation
to help you, solve your problems or deliver on any expectations or demands you may have, but if enough people come together we can
collaborate to make this software better. For everyone.
Thus, if you can, you could also look at other issues to see whether you can help other people with your knowledge
and experience. If you have coding experience it would also be awesome if you could step up to dive into the code and
try to fix the odd bug yourself. Everyone will be thankful for extra helping hands!
One last word: If you feel, at any point, like you need to vent, this is not the place for it; you can go to the forum,
to twitter or somewhere else. But this is a technical issue tracker, so please make sure to
focus on the tech and keep your opinions to yourself. (Also see our Code of Conduct. Really.)

I look forward to working with you on this issue
Cheers 💙

Hello @SchVinzenz
Thank you for submitting this bug report. Could you check the nextcloud.log file for errors around the time when you shared the folder?

Hello @marcelklehr, thanks for your answer.
I have not found any errors specifically for the Recognize app. The only thing I could imagine that it has to do with is a few errors with the message "Dirty table reads" (log-level 0).
