What

Use this issue to discuss how we help users to move between areas of the NHS App.

More information

There are different ways to help users move around the NHS App including:

  • the header and footer navigation bars
  • in-page navigation (this can include panel links and 'view all' links)
  • sideways navigation (this is a new component aimed at lateral navigation, for example between a service in the 'Services' hub and a related feature in 'Your health')
  • related content (this is a new component aimed at giving users related content when they reach the end of a journey; this list of potential next steps can help to avoid 'dead ends' which users have told us can be frustrating, for example on error screens).
