The service PHP is not working.

Hello everyone,
I'm updating the PHP to PHP 8.2.2 and when this moment the phpmon does not work as shown in the screenshot. I tried to restart PHP and reinstall but the same issue

Did you try to restart the service by pressing the E button in the services section of the menu? What does that say?

Also, please consult the FAQ and try the common fixes you can find there. You didn't mention if you tried to run Fix My Valet, which may help.

Additionally, you can try these:

valet stop
brew install [email protected]
valet install

Start PHP Monitor after, open the menu and press Command-S on the keyboard, which will restart all services.

I'm going to need more information than that if you want me to help you further...

• Did you try Fix My Valet via the First Aid menu?
• Did you try to restart the PHP service via the services menu, and what did PHP Monitor say when you did (if it failed to restart)?
• If restarting the service failed, was there an option to examine the log of the failing service? If so, can you paste the (final few lines) of the contents of the log?

Answers to these questions might help us find out what's going wrong.

Additionally, you can help me figure out even more information by sending me your verbose log for your latest session of PHP Monitor. Logging is disabled by default.

You can start extra verbose logging by running: touch ~/.config/phpmon/verbose and restarting PHP Monitor. You can find the latest log in: ~/.config/phpmon/last_session.log. Attaching it might also help.

When you click to Fix My Valet the app closes and you don't work again

If you upgraded I recommend restarting your system and seeing if the problem is gone. Sometimes there are PHP-FPM conflicts (i.e. a service remains running until a restart is done).

After restarting your Mac, try this:

valet stop
brew cleanup --prune
valet start

If it's not fixed after a restart + these commands, please attach the contents of the following file here: /opt/homebrew/var/log/php-fpm.log (you don't need to include the whole file, the last 50 lines or so should be OK)
