In response to an SO question I've written a micro guide to using already installed foreign language adaptors.

I'd really appreciate you reading it through and letting me know about any mistakes I've made or anything else you feel worth saying. Two things in particular:

  • Please contrast my "IP5 for dummies who barely know P5 or P6" attitude with Brad's answer and his excellent explanation of why it works the way it does and comment on that.

  • I'd like to be able to link the words "convert from its P6 meaning (an Array in a Scalar) to the target P5 meaning (a P5 array reference)" to the corresponding code in IP5. I tried to figure it out by reading Perl5.pm6, and going back to what seems like the relevant commit, but I confess to being quite out of my depth.
