Suggestion: optional panel for permanent code

I find dreampie very nice with its nice and fast insterface.
One of the only things I'm missing is a permanent code panel, which we could run on demand. This would allow re-execution of larger bunches of code, without having to search back in the history.
I think it would be great for fast prototyping, without greatly increase history.
