@noamraph If you don't have time to maintain this project. Please turn it in a Github organization so people can maintain it and add new features. I am volunteer to be a maintener. If someone else want too, please indicate it in this thread. |
not me, thanks |
I don't want to be a maintainer, but I have made major modifications 2015-05-28 18:53 GMT+02:00 stonebig [email protected]:

I care about tqdm and can help with maintenance. |
Of course I would prefer not create a fork. Let's give @noamraph some more time to answer us. We also need him for Pypi access. |
Hi all. We have no answer from @noamraph. I would really prefer to have his consent... @kmike what do you think about creating an organization called tqdm and forking the project. Then we could work on a next version (should be pretty easy and fast) integrating your changes and maybe some other stuff. Then we could ask to a Pypi admin to give us permissions to upload tqdm (https://pypi.python.org/pypi/tqdm). What do you think ? |
Well I finally fork tqdm to https://github.com/tqdm/tqdm. Feel free to ask me to add you in the Github organization. @kmike I added your PR to the fork #17 and I also give some love to the repo structure. I will migrate to issues. Don't hesitate to do the same. @noamraph hope you won't take it wrong. I can give you admin access to the organization if you want. |
Hey @hadim - thanks for working on it! |
Well to be honest now I have created the repo and added some commits I am lazy to do it... If you really want to I will recreate the repo with the old git history. But only if you really want it :-) Tell me ! PS: I have added you as owner |
@kmike I finally rebuild the tqdm repo with a proper git history. You're right this way it's cleaner ! |
I want to work with you guys :) Please add me to the tqdm organization. |
All is in the title.
If so, the community could fork it !
UPDATE: the project has been forked and lives here : https://github.com/tqdm/tqdm
