Nomic Embed performance for code search/similar tasks

Hello - looking for some insight into the Nomic Embed models suitability for code search/similarity since it uses comparison against Ada as a primary benchmark. Ada ranks well with code search/similarity use cases - does nomic perform these tasks just as well/better?
