It is currently not possible to customize the icon color based on the state of the selected item in the tree. In short: There is only a single key to change the color of this icon (with a default color of '808080), but no other key that would be used when the tree item is selected in order to prevent color contrast collisions like this.

I am not asking for the icon color change, for example if you check this "Gradianto theme" you can understand it.

Here the icon is shown just fine, but not on our Nord theme ( Check the previous screenshot ).

I don't think Nord has a good "selected but transparent" color like the screenshot you sent does, and personally I think it shouldn't be so transparent
However you could do something like the default theme does and just use a darker color where you keep the text white
