Request for a bold math font for use in section and title headers #67
Comments
how would this handle the bold characters in Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols? |
I think ultra bold characters need to be created. I am not aware of a
unicode font which does this, but the paid version of Math Time Pro 2 has
them.

maybe stealing them from noto sans/serif at weight 900 could work |
Yes, that would work. Btw, I found that Minion Math (paid) has bold and semi bold unicode math. If Noto Sans Bold Math is created, then it would be the first free unicode font to have a bold weight. |
Fira Math has tons of weights, they're just very incomplete. |
XITS Math has an incomplete bold weight as well. |
Ah yes, forgot about them. I wonder if there are any plans to complete them and add them to the release. I just realised that Lato Math Bold has been released as well, with limited support.
Btw, thank you for the work on XITS Math as well. |
Are there any plans for a bold Noto Sans Math font, primarily for use in section and title headers?
