Can you modify NReco.CF.Taste.Impl.Model.File.FileDataModel.readUserIDFromString to virtual?
My itemId is string ,I want to port the code
In Java method can be overrided by default,but C# is not.

no problems, could you provide a pull request with the change? Possibly you need virtual-s for another methods.
