1. What does the null community mean to you personally, and how do you align with its mission and values?The Null community, for me, started off as a place to meet like-minded individuals with the same passion and drive as me towards Cybersecurity. Ever since my first meetup in 2017, I felt a sense of belonging that was both comforting and empowering. It felt like a perfect place for gaining and creating awareness not just within the community but outside as well. My motto of helping people stay secure in the Cyberspace resonated well with the null community. Being the flag bearer of innovation in the spaces that I have worked, null always provided inspirations with its various talks and meetups. |
2. What motivates you to nominate yourself for a board position within the null community, and what unique contributions do you plan to bring?My passion for Cybersecurity and my commitment to follow and lead motivated me, and I firmly believe the range of technical and non-technical leadership experiences I bring to the table will make a difference. |
3. Can you describe your leadership style and how you intend to collaborate with fellow board members and volunteers to achieve the community's objectives?Being in a leadership position at my organisation helped my acquire the tools and skills to be a leader, constantly in action, gauging its results and tweaking my actions when there is a difference in the results and expectations. I am a follower who believes that only a good follower can show up as a true leader. |

What is your vision for the null community over the next five years, and how do you plan to contribute to its growth and innovation beyond current activities?My vision for the community is to see it grow and reach global industrial recognition and touch more people. Exploring ways to engage with major corporations, foundations and industry leaders. Taking on more open-source initiatives, including tools, documentation and standards which align with the mission of null and target to solve specific security challenges. |

How will you encourage and support community members to start, lead, and grow new null initiatives, projects, and chapters, ensuring the needs of both beginners and experts are met globally?Touching people by aligning their personal aspirations to the needs of the community will enable them to start, lead and grow new initiatives. Providing a listening to both beginners and experts alike so that they can be moved, touched and inspired will ensure that their needs are met. |
6. Given that this is a volunteer position without financial compensation, how do you plan to balance your time and commitment to the community?Having a calendar and following it religiously is my go-to method for balancing my time. I consider commitment as a core value, and I strive really hard to stick to it and falling short is not an option. |
7. Have you previously held any board-level positions in open, non-profit communities? If yes, please specify and share your achievements during that tenure.No, I have not previously held any positions in other communities. |
8. What contributions have you made to various communities, particularly in the field of information security, and how do these experiences prepare you for this role?I have made open-source contributions to PrjectDiscovery, technical reviewed a book on Cybersecurity Mesh Architecture written blogs and expressed my views in the form of Podcasts. I believe these experiences serve as a testament to my commitment to contribute and prepared me to take on this role. |

How will you promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the null community to ensure it is welcoming and accessible to all individuals?Providing a listening is the secret sauce to ensure diversity, equity and inclusion. Listening not just to reply but to actually listen to listen and understand, taking actions that enable a broader accessibility. |
10. The null community has yet to achieve significant industry recognition and support. What strategies would you implement to gain such recognition and support, similar to initiatives like the OWASP Top 10?Transparency in the operation, a commitment to ensuring integrity and openness is some of the strategies to gain recognition and support. Foster industry partnerships with corporations and foundations. |

I am a passionate Cybersecurity Professional with over 8 years of experience working as a Penetration Tester, Ethical Hacker and a Cybersecurity Architect. Being in a leadership position in my organisation, I built a Cybersecurity department from scratch that started with me and grew to a team of 10 Cybersecurity Engineers specializing in Red Teaming and Blue Teaming. Under my leadership and with the company of some really talented engineers, we were able to generate an annual revenue of more than $90,000 and help our clients stay secure in Cyberspace.
I see this candidature as an opportunity to contribute back to the community and show up as a leader. Together, let's MAKE THIS COMMUNITY GREAT AGAIN!
