My website is multilingual with multiple author settings. However, when I switched to the second language and clicked on an author profile, which is defined in
data/authors/firstAuthor.json
, it directed the users back to the English version page (the default language), which is_index.md
located incontent/authors/firstAuthor
. I do have a_index.zh-tw.md
file in the same location. The strangest aspect of this issue is that when I show the author badge and click on it, it directs me to the correct page, which is
http://localhost:1313/zh-tw/authors/firstAuthor/
.I tried to create a second file, such as
data/authors/firstAuthor.zh-tw.json
. It worked to display the information in the author profile in the second language only if I set theauthors
parameter in the article asauthors: "firstAuthor.zh-tw"
, but the clickable link would direct the users to a 404 page because the URL would behttp://localhost:1313/authors/firstAuthor.zh-tw/
instead.Does anyone know how to update the author profile links in this theme or how to fix this problem in another way?
