Gallery Preview shows a blurred out version of the picture

Hi!

I was trying to fix the reason that was making my photos loaded in galleries to be of less resolution. I thought it was simply my image compression action I am using to save space and website load times. But now that I've done tests loading them from flickr, I've come to realize that the only time they show blurred out is when I click to preview, however, when I "right-click save", the photo does come full resolution as expected

Why does this happen? Is there any option I'm missing for the gallery shortcake to load full res on preview? Thanks in advance!

Oh wow, just found out that this only happens in Safari, as in a Chromium based browser (i.e. Brave) the resolution is perfect

Would love to understand why this happens. Any idea?
