capture to current buffer?

target (string?) — name of the file to which the capture content will be added. If the target is not specified, the content will be added to the org_default_notes_file file

Is there something I could supply here to make it capture to the buffer I'm in? That or a way to make custom "insert headline" templates? I'd like to have a :PROPERTIES: drawer filled out for me with creation date when I create a headline.
