Initially no quakes are shown because the "url" value in "map" block is initialized to: "'http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/feed/v1.0/summary/significant_week.geojson'".

An easy fix is to update the "url" value to some other values, e.g. "'http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/feed/v1.0/summary/all_week.geojson'"
