operation of search button from keyboard is not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. write string like jungle book in text box of search string 
2. click on search button through keyboard by hitting Enter key
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
it should select search button and do the searching.
instead of it i found it is not activating search button and done nothing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

windows xp
