Requests don't get authenticated.

Hello,
I'm making an app using react (vite) that lets me trigger my workflows on choice.
I give the Octokit authentication when const-ing it, but when sending the request from a browser perspective, I get this error:
Error: Must have admin rights to Repository. - https://docs.github.com/rest/actions/workflows#create-a-workflow-dispatch-event
My classic access token has the scope repo as requested on the docs, but it looks like when sending the request from the browser, the authentication doesn't get sent over.
Any help is appreciated!
