Command-B / Command-I don't have any action on Google Chrome on Mac, whereas Ctrl-B/I work properly (but striclty speaking they shouldn't).

On Safari those shortcuts work but using some internal browser markup, thus breaking the highlighting of the toolbar buttons.

It is excellent to have details about the behavior on Mac Chrome and Safari. This is on our list of things to address. It may be bundled with a sprint to work on accessibility, which will address the behavior of keyboard shortcuts. We would also be happy to test and merge suggested improvements.

OK :-)
FYI, Cmd-Z shortcut seems to be a bit more intricate (didn't find a clear pattern of where and what works).
