HowTo: Install and Run

Currently, we don't have a streamlined install process. So here's how to install and run the program:

How do I get set up?

Install dependencies listed below in the format Upstream/Debian/Arch (may be different on other distributions):

• Gtk2/libgtk2-perl/gtk2-perl.

• Cairo/libcairo-perl/cairo-perl.

• Pango/libpango-perl/pango-perl.

• Perl/perl5/perl. (This should be included in most distributions.)

The top three dependencies can be downloaded from CPAN. MIDI-Perl is now included in the source distribution. Eventually, we may require Locale::gettext/liblocale-gettext-perl/perl-locale-gettext.

Once set up, run "perl SeekMIDI.pl" in the folder containing SeekMIDI to run the program.
