Best way to disable app and deploy additional nodes

I must admit, I am new to this. I was able to deploy your template successfully on a single node.
I'd like to disable the cert-manager because currently I have a reverse proxy manager set up already and then add and deploy two more nodes. So it would be 3 total.
What would be the best way to accomplish that.
Right now I am "renovating" my home lab and I have a grand collage "stuff" so to speak. Then eventually move to the Cloudflare setup.

You can add more nodes to the talhelper config and then generate the config and apply them to the nodes in maintenance mode.

As for cert manager why exactly do you want to disable it? Certificates should be handled from within the cluster for use with the ingress controller

I understood it pulls in certs from Letsencrypt.
Right now my external nginx proxy does that.
And then sends to external exposed ports to services and applications on docker.
I interested in doing this with kubernetes until such time I can switch over everything.

I guess I could also Kubernetes Ingress to External Service.
For example, have a service that isn't hosted on Kubernetes. I also have an ingress controller and cert-manager set up on my kubernetes cluster.
Because it might be simpler and easy to use kubernetes ingress to control access to services, I wanted to have a kubernetes ingress that points to a non-kubernetes service.
For example, I have a service that's hosted at https://192.168.40.12:5678 (ssl required) and want to access at service.example.com.
