DevOps toolchain sample application and tutorial

DevOps is a methodology that aims to improve development and operational efficiencies while enhancing partnership with customers. DevOps is more than doing the same things faster; it establishes a good delivery pipeline from ideation to implementation to monitoring.

To start working from a DevOps approach, use the DevOps Tutorial Application project. You'll get a project in IBM® Bluemix™ DevOps Services that is built by using the latest tools, deployed to IBM Bluemix, and has the foundation for test, scalability, and operations.

The application is a simple Node.js Express 4 sample that you can extend. This sample code is used in a [tutorial] (https://www.ibm.com/devops/method/tutorials/tutorial_cloud_native) that explains how to configure a toolchain to use for development of cloud native applications in IBM DevOps Services and IBM Bluemix.

To set up and run certain stages of the pipeline, you might need to register for other tools or services. The tutorial guides you through those details.

Use of the sample application is governed by the terms of the MIT license (see the license file). Any other open source software included in the sample is made available under the terms of their respective open source licenses.
