Project Overview

Welcome to the RaaSBerry project! RaaSBerry is an experimental project aimed at exploring and developing ransomware techniques with a twist — rather than causing actual harm, it “trolls” the victim by temporarily withholding access to files and then restoring them after a set period. This is a research-driven project focusing on advanced evasion and obfuscation techniques, designed to deepen our understanding of cybersecurity and the behavior of ransomware in a controlled environment.

Objectives

Our main goals for RaaSBerry are:

1. Evasion: Develop advanced methods to evade detection by antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
2. Obfuscation: Implement robust obfuscation techniques to mask key functions and make static analysis difficult.
3. Anti-analysis Techniques: Pack and hide core functions, activating defenses that detect when the ransomware is under analysis or in a sandbox environment.

This project is an ongoing effort and will likely evolve as we test new ideas and incorporate feedback.
