Over the next week or so it'd be good to make a blog post to summarize for folks all the cool stuff that happened with OpenGitOps in 2021. Had a good convo with @mewzherder about this. Was going to wait till I had a draft outline for this, but then had another convo today with @hseligson1 about newsletters, so in the spirit of keeping the momentum going and openness here's an issue for transparency.
I started a HackMD doc and to get us started, added the list of things I presented for the WG in TAG App Delivery update for KubeCon China this month: https://hackmd.io/1DuBleo8TC2BD2iz0Wkxng

@christianh814 dang, I meant to leave this open for a short time for review, then post on Dec 31, 2021, but this slipped through the cracks.
Hannah Seligson added a short section to the linked HackMD about the other blog post I was proposing, but then deleted it when the group wasn't sure we should post tool comparisons at that time. We didn't get any other contributions, which would have been fine – I just got wrapped up in other things and forgot to post on our blog.
It WAS published to KubeCon China, just not the opengitops.dev blog. Wondering… legit to add it on the blog now dated at 2021 years end? I could see this would be fine if we add a note clarifying the above, and that it only made it on the blog publicly now 🤔
Happy almost 2022 everyone!
