Motivation

The following dependencies have significant features upgrades

  • pytorch 2.5.1 torch.compile
  • tensorrt 10.7.0.23 new release have faster gemms

The last release was over a year ago. These new packages would very helpful in using mmdetection in production for us.

Also removing old dependencies which are not maintained would ease adoption. Like ppl.cv has broken code for cuda>=12.
